Atlas to Sahara Drive

Atlas to Sahara Drive is a spectacular travel route in southern Morocco, connecting the film city of Ouarzazate with the Sahara's iconic dune landscapes in Merzouga. The journey crosses the Central and High Atlas Mountains via winding mountain roads, where views of deep valleys, arid plateaus, and verdant oases are ever-changing. Along the way, you will encounter traditional Berber villages and historic kasbahs, including the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou, known for its well-preserved clay architecture and role as a setting in international films, as well as Kasbah Taourirt in the heart of Ouarzazate.
