Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Bjergen's Gorilla Home

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in southwestern Uganda and one of Africa's most biodiverse natural areas. The dense and breathtaking rainforest is situated in the Albertine Rift at altitudes ranging from approximately 1,160 to 2,600 meters and is known as the habitat for nearly half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas.
