Cameron Highlands

Cameron Highlands is located in the highlands of Pahang, reaching altitudes of up to 1,500 meters, and is known as Malaysia's cool green retreat. The region is particularly famous for its vast tea plantations, including the BOH Tea Estate, where visitors can explore the history of tea production, stroll through neatly manicured fields, and enjoy spectacular views of rolling hills. The unique mossy forests are one of the area's biggest natural attractions – here, you can walk along mist-filled trails surrounded by ancient trees, moss, lichens, carnivorous plants, and wild orchids that thrive in the humid mountain climate. Cameron Highlands also offers several beautiful waterfalls, such as Lata Iskandar and Robinson Falls, which can be accessed via short hikes. The mild climate makes the area ideal for strawberry farming, and local strawberry farms offer both self-picking and freshly made treats. The colonial heritage is evident in the architecture, old guesthouses, and English-inspired gardens, all of which lend the area a tranquil, almost European atmosphere amidst Malaysia's lush nature.
