Colca Canyon

Colca Canyon is located northwest of Arequipa in southern Peru and is considered one of the world's deepest canyons, featuring dramatic altitude differences that surpass even the Grand Canyon. The landscape has been shaped by millennia of erosion and is characterized by steep cliffs, deep valleys, and green terraced fields still cultivated by local communities.
