El Chaltén

El Chaltén is known as Argentina's trekking capital and is spectacularly located in the northern part of Los Glaciares National Park in Patagonia. The town serves as a base for some of South America's most iconic hiking trails, especially the famous Laguna de los Tres trek, where you're rewarded with close encounters with the dramatic Fitz Roy massif and intense turquoise glacier lakes surrounded by jagged granite peaks.
