Harar – East African Cultural City

Harar is one of Africa's most distinctive and historically significant cities, located in eastern Ethiopia. The heart of the city is the fortified old town, Harar Jugol, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and surrounded by impressive 16th-century walls with five iconic town gates.
