Konya – The Historical Center of Sufism

Konya is a spiritual and historical center in the heart of Central Anatolia and is considered one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. The city is inextricably linked with Sufism and the great poet and mystic Jalal ad-Din Rumi, known as Mevlana, whose concepts of love, tolerance, and inner quest still shape the city's identity.
