Les Arcs

Les Arcs is prominently situated high above the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie and, together with La Plagne, forms the enormous Paradiski ski area with direct access to over 400 km of slopes. The destination’s icon is Aiguille Rouge at an altitude of 3,226 meters, from which a spectacular, continuous descent covering over 7 km takes you all the way down to Villaroger – a must for experienced skiers. Les Arcs is especially famous for long, varied runs, wide carving slopes at higher elevations, and easily accessible off-piste terrain that often retains snow well, thanks to north-facing aspects. The modern panoramic lifts connect the four car-free villages Arc 1600, 1800, 1950, and 2000, each with its own character and direct ski-in/ski-out access. From the slopes and lifts, expansive views open toward the Mont Blanc massif. When the snow melts, Les Arcs shifts pace and becomes an active summer destination with marked hiking trails, challenging mountain bike paths, and alpine experiences at higher altitudes where nature and views take center stage.
