Pacific Coast Highway

Pacific Coast Highway, also known as Highway 1, follows California's dramatic Pacific coastline and is considered one of the world's most scenic coastal roads. The most spectacular section is the stretch through Big Sur, where the road winds high above the ocean between steep cliffs, redwood forests, and the deep blue sea.
