Pécs – Hungarian Cultural Heritage

Pécs is one of Hungary's oldest cities and one of its most distinctive cultural centers, idyllically nestled at the foot of the Mecsek Mountains in southern Hungary. The city's history dates back to Roman times, most evident in the well-preserved early Christian burial chambers, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
