Phang Nga Bay

Phang Nga Bay is an iconic natural area in southern Thailand, located in the Andaman Sea between Phuket and the mainland in Phang Nga Province. The bay is renowned for its striking limestone formations that rise almost vertically from the emerald-green waters, creating a landscape unique to the region. Many of the cliffs conceal sea caves and so-called 'hongs' – hidden lagoons that can only be accessed by kayak through narrow passages during low tide. Kayaking in Phang Nga Bay is one of the most authentic ways to experience the area, bringing you close to cliffs, stalactite caves, and mangrove forests.
