Skopje – Monuments and Low Prices

Skopje is a capital city that evokes strong opinions – and that’s precisely what makes it an exciting travel destination. North Macedonia’s capital contains an unusual mix of historical layers, where ancient references, brutalist socialist architecture, and Ottoman culture coexist side by side. At the same time, Skopje is known for its low prices on food, public transport, and accommodation, making it particularly attractive to travelers seeking authentic experiences without breaking the bank.
