Sognefjord – Norway's Deep Fjord

Sognefjord is Norway's longest and deepest fjord, stretching more than 200 kilometers from the coast deep into the heart of Western Norway. With a depth of over 1,300 meters and dramatic mountain sides rising almost vertically from the deep blue waters, the fjord stands out as one of Europe's most spectacular natural landscapes. Iconic side fjords like Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord branch off along the main fjord, both renowned for their narrow passages, waterfalls, and steep rock walls.
