About Whistler Blackcomb – Canada's Ski Icon - Whistler, British Columbia, Canada
Whistler Blackcomb is Canada's undisputed ski icon and one of the world's largest connected ski areas, located in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia. The ski area comprises two massive mountains – Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain – linked by the world-famous Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which hovers more than 400 meters above the valley offering extraordinary panoramic views of glaciers, alpine forests, and snow-capped peaks. With over 200 trails, three glaciers, and some of North America's biggest lift-serviced off-piste areas, Whistler Blackcomb is a paradise for beginners, intermediates, and experienced freeriders alike. The wide groomed runs and modern lift systems make the area easy to navigate and efficient, while the steep bowls, couloirs, and tree runs attract skiers from around the globe. The season is long, often stretching from November to May, with spring glacier skiing available. At the base of the mountains lies Whistler Village – a car-free and vibrant alpine village boasting award-winning restaurants, luxury shopping, and an international après-ski scene. The combination of spectacular nature, technical variety, and cosmopolitan atmosphere makes Whistler Blackcomb a world-class destination.
