Zhangjiajie Forest

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan Province is an iconic natural area and one of China's most unique landscapes, world-renowned as the inspiration for the floating mountains in the movie Avatar. The park is characterized by over 3,000 vertical sandstone pillars, shaped by millions of years of erosion, rising dramatically from deep, forested valleys.
